Spend your weekend on a personalized one-on-one self-supported cycling and camping, and participate in alternative therapies; such as sound healing, energy work, intentional healing, and forest therapy; to aid in your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

Biker Down: Bike Therapy

$140 • 2 HOURS

Conquer the trepidation of getting back into the saddle, whether from trauma due to a cycling accident/injury or just from years of not riding. The transition back onto a bicycle can be a challenging and daunting moment, with Sage by your side rebuild your self-confidence, begin to have faith in your skill set again, and sharpen your observation and situational awareness skills.

Starting Off: An Introduction to Cycling

$200 • 2 HOURS

For those who have never ridden a bicycle, for those who want to take the training wheels off, or for those who want to progress from a balance bike & learn how to pedal, this is the class for you. The novice cyclist will be able to ride a bike by learning and following 3 simple steps. With Sage’s style of pedagogy and entertainment, learning how to cycle becomes an uplifting and confidence-building life-long skill.

ABC’s: All-Around Basic Cycling Lessons

$250 • 2.5 HOURS

This personalized class is for those who already know how to cycle but are trying to expand their skill set to begin commuting confidently, bike touring, and/or for recreation. Fine-tuning cycling skills from braking and shifting to observational skills and situational awareness.

Joseph Sage Raindancer

Sage’s outdoor experience began as a child spending his time exploring the forests of Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties. His outdoor experience expanded as an alumni of Outward Bound and National Outdoor Leadership School, as a veteran of the US Army Reserve, as a bicycle messenger, and as an Outdoor Instructor with Recreational Equipment Incorporated. Sage also volunteers countless hours as a marshal for several social cycling groups in Washington, D.C.
